Google's usage as a calculator

Google can also be used as a calculator to do math calculations.

So when you are browsing and you need to do some math calculations no need to go for a manual calculator or the one that is already in the PC.

Instead you can opt to use the google search box as the calculator which is equally good or more efficient than a normal one.

Using Google calculator is as simple as using Google as a search engine.

Google can also be used to track the weather conditions of our hometown or any other place if we wish to.

Just go to the Google homepage and the in the keyword WEATHER followed by name of the city.

And Google will provide you with the Weather conditions of that city with the forecast for next three days as well.

For Example , Typing in WEATHER LONDON will display the results as given below.

Check the time of any city using Google

Google is also a helpful tool to check the time of our own city as well as other cities.

All you need to do is to type in TIME followed by the name of the city.

For example

Typing TIME DUBAI in the google search box and hitting enter will give the current time in Dubai.

Currency conversion using Google

Most of us use Google only as a search engine where we type in our keywords and find related keywords. But Google has many more to offer.

Currency Conversion is one of the many options available in Google.

We can convert the currencies in the google home page itself.

Lets see how it works,

For example if you wish to know the value of 1 U.S Dollars in Indian Rupees then type

1 USD to INR in the Google search box, and then hit enter.

The result will be displayed as shown in the image above.

Similarly if you wish to convert other currencies you can type those in the search box.

AED to INR (Dirhams of U.A.E to Indian Rupees)

SAR to INR (Saudi Riyals to Indian Rupees)
